Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, including sales, account management, event management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with the ability to negotiate contracts and build relationships with clients. Ability to lead a team by example.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow the catering sales pipeline, including prospecting new clients and following up on leads
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business
• Collaborate with clients to create customized catering menus and packages that meet their specific needs and preferences
• Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including staffing, logistics, and equipment rentals
• Oversee the execution of catering events to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
• Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns or issues
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu options that align with client preferences and dietary restrictions

Skills:

• Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and secure profitable contracts
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other software for managing leads and tracking sales activity
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
