Job Description

Catering & Events Sales Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 • Hybrid work The position is based in South Florida, with flexibility to work remotely as needed.

Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Business Development:

Proactively identify and prospect new business leads for catering orders and events across all locations and markets (NY, NJ, CHI, FL, DC, PR) Develop and execute strategies to generate new event and catering bookings through phone calls, emails, and direct outreach. Utilize social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) for targeted outreach to potential clients and event planners. Build relationships with local event planners, corporate clients, and organizations to secure consistent business.

Event Booking & Client Management:

Book and coordinate events including social events, birthday parties, corporate events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and other private functions. Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to event confirmation, ensuring a smooth transition from booking to execution. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction from start to finish.

Community Engagement & Networking:

Organize and host complimentary happy hours, expos, and networking events to connect with local event planners, corporate clients, and influencers. Attend local industry events to increase brand awareness and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Social Media, Marketing and Operations Collaboration:

Work with the marketing team to help create engaging content on social media to promote catering services, events, and special offers. Work with the marketing team to ensure all promotional materials align with company goals and market trends. Work closely with marketing, operations, and venue management to ensure all client needs are met and all events and caterings are executed seamlessly.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience & Skills:

Proven track record in sales, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or event planning industries. Strong ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage client relationships. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Creative and resourceful in using social media platforms for marketing and outreach.
