Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, Basecamp Fitness, and Stronger U is seeking a Director Franchise Development to work on its Waxing the City and Orangetheory Fitness Brands. Job Summary
The Director of Franchise Development plays a key role in the continued growth of Purpose Brands. This person is the tip of the spear in helping our prospective franchises realize their dream of business ownership with one/multiple licenses and the path to financial independence, by taking them through the prospective franchisee discovery process and securing their investment in the brand.
Purpose/Impact:
(Duties & Essential Functions)
Connect with, educate, and INSPIRE, prospective franchisees, regarding all aspects of business ownership and franchising
Effectively manage of pipeline of incoming and existing leads.
Manage and nurture relationships with existing franchisees, working with them to secure their re-investment in the brand.
Partner with internal support teams such as, Franchise Real Estate, Franchise Business Coaches, and the Franchise Administration team.
Complete territory sales to meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales goals.
Required Strengths:
The successful person in this position will have practical experience with the following specific activities:
Practical experience in client relationship management or sales
Practical experience in pipeline management
Practical experience in the fitness industry is preferable
Practical experience in franchising is preferable
Additional Strengths and Background:
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
8 – 10 years of Development in Franchise Sales strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain outstanding working relationships with employees and management at all levels.
An unquestioned reputation for integrity and ethics. A strong character that will build the trust of others, both internally and externally.
Ability to inject an appropriate sense of urgency into the business, ensuring that things get done in a timely, professional, and organized way.

Salary range: $75k – $80k + Commissions
