Job Summary:
our client, a well-known French leading manufacturer of Aircraft cockpit and cabin lighting systems, is looking for its Tampa, FL subsidiary, an experienced Business Development Manager to develop its market diversification, Yachting, and Luxury hotels.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish, grow, and maintain strong relationships with key clients of its activity market.
Visit new and existing customers on a regular basis or as needed.
Actively participate in new market penetration strategy
Attend Trade Show events to keep track of market intelligence in the industry with respect to market development, projects, competitive activity, and to establish new contacts.
Perform market studies and develop the selling business plan (0-3 years) that is linked to.
Drive opportunities for blanket, program, and long-term agreement sales.
Report on sales meetings & accomplishments to various internal
Recognize opportunities for new programs / products or where competitors’ products are not performing
Negotiate short and long-term pricing contracts in coordination with Contracts, Inside Sales and Product Management.
Recommend and implement pricing strategies to improve market position and gross profit.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, Business school, and experience in yachting and/or Luxury hotels markets required: 7-10 years
Successful experience in market diversification or in increasing market in a specific business.
Effectively manage multiple tasks changing priorities regularly
Organize various projects and activities without letting important items slip
Must be highly organized, responsive, and motivated with a great autonomy and a very good mindset
Strong work ethic with a high sense for accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must have strong follow-up and task tracking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to make well thought out decisions that are in the best interest of the business
Must be self-motivated and resilient to adapt and conform to the position requirements
