Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales/Project Manager to oversee and drive sales efforts and manage construction projects within the multifamily sector. This individual will serve as a key liaison between our clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the multifamily construction industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property developers, architects, and investors. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients. Manage and track sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and closing opportunities. Collaborate with senior management to define and execute sales strategies for regional growth.
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects, from pre-construction through completion. Coordinate and manage the schedule, budget, resources, and team members to ensure project success. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives. Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of materials and services. Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure safety standards and quality control are being met. Prepare and manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
Client Relations & Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term relationships. Lead project meetings, both internally and with clients, to communicate project status and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in sales or business development within the multifamily sector. Strong knowledge of multifamily construction processes, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and successful completion. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in construction.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with large multifamily renovation projects. Local market knowledge and established relationships with regional property ownership groups, property management companies, architects, and subcontractors. PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED certification is a plus.
