SUMMARY:
To drive sales growth across The Lewis Bear Company’s (LBC) Total Portfolio, including Craft and Domestic Beer, Liquor, Wine, and Non-Alcoholic Brands, within the designated market. Ensure compliance with all Supplier standards and foster a positive, productive working relationship among LBC, its Suppliers, and Retailers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – RETAILER AND SALES TEAM COMMUNICATION
In collaboration with the Senior Brand Development Manager, the Off-Premise Brand Representative serves as a key contact for Suppliers. This role requires staying informed on internal and external performance metrics and industry trends, ensuring timely and accurate communication with both LBC teams and retailers.
SALES AND MARKETING
Collaborate with the designated Supplier Representative to develop LBC’s Annual Business Plan. This plan should include a comprehensive calendar of sales and marketing activities, serving as a strategic roadmap for the year, and outlining key incentives and events. Collaborate with Sales Managers to effectively communicate Business Plan objectives to Supervisors. Provide weekly updates to the Senior Brand Development Manager to review progress and ensure alignment with goals. Develop sales standards in collaboration with Suppliers and LBC guidelines. Communicate these standards to Sales Teams, including category management, chain, and sign shop personnel. Reinforce standards during weekly sales meetings, market visits, and sales management meetings. Monitor the PFP program to ensure objectives align with LBC’s Brand Net Sales and provide guidance to Off-Premise Sales Teams to integrate with the Portfolio Business Plan. Contribute to LBC’s Incentive Plan by incorporating Supplier recommendations. Ensure accurate tracking and clear communication during weekly sales department meetings. Participate in Chain Calls with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and/or Supplier Rep in all Off Premise Chains Dedicate a portion of each sales meeting to discuss off-premise brand performance, plans, promotions, and opportunities. Use this time to provide product knowledge and sales training, focusing on specific brands and their features and benefits. Maintain regular call frequency for assigned high-profile off-premise independent accounts and chain accounts. Identify consumer and retail trends in the market and develop strategies to position LBC’s brands for success. Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and Senior Brand Development Manager to ensure timely communication of inventory needs, preventing OOS. Attend all relevant Supplier meetings. Evaluate and meet with prospective suppliers, providing recommendations to management. Oversee the execution of festivals, samplings, and special marketing events to maximize brand exposure. Manage new product introductions through samplings, point-of-sale materials, and events. Attend resets and collaborate with the branch to ensure proper representation of LBC during the process. Promote and sell the Brand Portfolio to targeted accounts based on volume potential or branch opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or 3 years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages Ability to safely operate company vehicle Must be proficient using company computer software and hardware and adaptable to new technology and able to write routing reports and correspondence Must be able to work 50+ hours per week including evenings and weekend work. Compensation for this position is salary + bonus. Total compensation approximately $58,000 – 61,000/yr A valid driver’s license is required with 7 points or less in the previous 3yr period
