Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business transient revenue from both existing and new corporate clients within the Savannah, GA market. Proactively identify and pursue new corporate accounts, fostering strong relationships to drive long-term business opportunities. Negotiate and manage corporate rate agreements to ensure competitive positioning and sustained profitability. Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and transient demand patterns to inform and adapt sales strategies effectively. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals through strategic prospecting and relationship management. Serve as the primary liaison for business transient accounts, delivering exceptional service and building lasting client loyalty. Conduct regular client meetings, site tours, and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and identify new revenue opportunities. Maintain up-to-date records of client communications, contracts, and account details within CRM platforms. Respond to client inquiries and requests with urgency and professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with the revenue management team to align pricing, inventory, and availability strategies with transient demand. Partner with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials tailored to the corporate traveler segment. Provide market intelligence and account insights to senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to share client feedback and contribute to operational enhancements and guest satisfaction. Prepare detailed sales reports and performance summaries, including updates on account progress, revenue trends, and competitive analysis. Analyze revenue data to refine sales tactics and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Actively participate in weekly sales and revenue meetings, offering updates and collaborating on team-wide goals. Ensure all sales practices comply with hotel policies, brand standards, and contractual guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years in hotel sales, with a focus on business transient sales. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric mindset. Proficient in sales and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify business opportunities, and adjust strategies.
