This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building key relationships, and leading contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
Create and implement business development plans to expand Norma Precision Inc.’s presence in assigned international and law enforcement markets.
Identify and Cultivate New Business Opportunities:
Research and engage with potential customers, including but not limited to international and domestic military, law enforcement agencies, and distributors, to drive sales growth.
Build and Maintain Key Relationships:
Establish and nurture relationships with government procurement officers, law enforcement decision-makers, and key industry partners to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
Lead Contract Negotiations:
Manage contract discussions with law enforcement agencies, international distributors, and government entities.
Manage Sales Pipelines:
Oversee and track sales opportunities, ensuring proper forecasting, reporting, and follow-ups to meet revenue targets.
Ensure Regulatory and Export Compliance:
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate international trade laws, ITAR/EAR regulations, and local firearms/ammunition laws.
Develop and Present Proposals:
Prepare detailed sales presentations, bids, and proposals tailored to the specific needs of law enforcement and government procurement departments.
Conduct Market Analysis:
Assess competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, and emerging market trends to identify areas of opportunity and potential threats.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and logistics to ensure customer needs are met and business goals are aligned. Represent the Company at
Industry Events:
Attend trade shows, law enforcement expos, and international defense summits to showcase Norma Precision Inc.’s products and build industry connections. Lead and Develop the
International and Law Enforcement Sales Team:
Manage, mentor, and support the dedicated sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals, enhancing team performance, and driving revenue growth in international and law enforcement channels. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the defense or law enforcement industry. Strong understanding of international trade laws, ITAR/EAR regulations, and local firearms/ammunition laws. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel domestic and international as required (able to secure a passport).
