POSITION
Managing Director – Projects & Business Development Red Rover Maintenance, Inc. Red Rover is a thriving residential and commercial maintenance company specializing in condominiums and homeowner associations. Role Overview:
As the Managing Director of Projects and Business Development, you will lead our Production Division staff, manage project budgets, and ensure operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include overseeing subcontractor relationships, negotiating agreements, and implementing cost-effective solutions. Your proactive approach will contribute to our goal of completing projects on time, under budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Production Division staff for efficient project execution. Establish and maintain a comprehensive subcontractor list. Manage procurement of materials and services for projects, ensuring competitive pricing. Establish and achieve project budget objectives. Negotiate and draft subcontractor agreements. Monitor subcontractor performance and support as required. Research and implement business solutions for enhanced workflow and cost savings. Maintain detailed Job Duty List and adapt as the company grows. Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Obtain and track required permits for projects. Attend monthly meetings to discuss operations and growth. Coordinate manufacturers’ inspections and warranty documentation. Prepare and submit estimate/bid packages for client approval. Maintain positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field. 5+ years of experience in a related industry. Previous management or team lead experience. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Proficient in digital and social media platforms.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate in person and by telephone. Computer usage for extended periods. Travel to and from job sites. Ability to walk properties and attend standing business activities.
Work Environment:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call weekends as needed. Office located in Woodstock, with 2 work-from-home days per week. Travel to job sites as required.
