As the Director of Business Development for ourAtlanta Region, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenuegrowth and building lasting relationships with clients. You willmanage a portfolio of accounts, identify new businessopportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to providetailored solutions. Your mission is to ensure client satisfactionwhile achieving sales objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, includingveterinarians, practice managers and regional operation managers.
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients tounderstand their needs and goals.
- Develop and execute strategicaccount plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identifyopportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services
- Provide consultative sales support by presenting customizedsolutions and proposals.
- Act as the primary point of contact forclients, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensureclient success.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, andcustomer feedback to refine strategies.
- Attend and participate inindustry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Prepareregular reports on account performance and key metrics.
- Performsother duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. MBA degree a plus. Animal industry experience required. Experience working with veterinarians preferred. Proven experience in sales, account management, or relatedroles. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonalskills. Ability to analyze client needs and offer tailoredsolutions. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of workingindependently. Detail oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence inservice. Licensed to drive in the United States and a clean drivingrecord. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
