Job Summary:
KinaTrax is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director ofTechnical Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts inexpanding market share and driving business growth in the in-gamemarkerless motion capture industry. This role requires a deepunderstanding of biomechanics and motion capture technologies,along with exceptional sales, relationship-building, and technicalskills. The ideal candidate will serve as an industry expert whocan engage with the biomechanics community, bridge technicalknowledge with client needs, and position KinaTrax as the trustedleader in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute sales and business development strategiesto drive growth and achieve revenue targets for KinaTrax’s motioncapture products and services. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within keysectors such as sports, research, entertainment, and virtualreality. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, andcompetitive threats within the motion capture industry. Industry Expertise & Technical Engagement Position yourself as a trusted expert in biomechanics,leveraging your knowledge and experience to build credibility andfoster trust within the biomechanics community. Provide expert-level technical guidance and support throughoutthe sales process, including product demonstrations and clientpresentations. Effectively contrast KinaTrax’s markerless motion capturetechnology with both traditional marker-based systems and leadingmarkerless providers to highlight its advantages. Relationship Building Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients,industry leaders, and strategic partners to drive market expansionand enhance KinaTrax’s presence. Engage with biomechanics professionals and influencers toensure alignment with their needs and expectations. Maintain long-term customer relationships, including regularonsite visits to foster trust and satisfaction. Customer & Product Support Offer guidance on the design and setup of motion capturelaboratories, including advising on aspects like force plateinstallation. Team Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with senior management to align businessdevelopment efforts with KinaTrax’s overall strategicobjectives. Contribute to the development and refinement of motion captureproducts based on market trends and customer feedback. Collaborate with operations, product management, and R Dteams to ensure alignment between sales efforts, productcapabilities, and market needs. Marketing & Content Creation Maintain and create content for social media accounts to engagewith the industry and promote KinaTrax’s brand. Additional Contributions Leverage your network to identify and attract new talent to theorganization, contributing to the company’s growth andinnovation. Proactively seek opportunities to strengthen clientrelationships by visiting nearby customers or prospects duringsales site trips.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education Master’s degree in Biomechanics, Engineering, Computer Science,Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications inmotion capture technology or business management areadvantageous. Experience Proven experience in technical sales and business developmentwithin the motion capture or related technology sectors, includingdemonstrated success in a leadership role.. Deep understanding of motion capture technology, itsapplications, and industry trends, with a focus on biomechanics andmarkerless systems. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and drivinggrowth in the motion capture industry. Skills & Attributes Strong technical knowledge of motion capture systems andbiomechanics, including familiarity with tools like Visual3D andKinaTrax Dugout. Exceptional relationship-building skills, particularly withinthe biomechanics community and sports industry. Ability to analyze complex technical data and market trends todevelop effective strategies. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach toovercoming challenges. Passion for technology, innovation, and driving positive changein the motion capture field.
