You will be responsible for establishing a strong tie with our customers and working very closely with the customer in setting up their group details, as well as any banquet/catering functions. You will also play a vital role in creating an Excellent and memorable stay for our guests. Your responsibilities include warmly welcoming, guests, providing exceptional service in person or over the phone, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.   • must have a fast and effective response to every potential client Dedicated to providing the best sales experience in the industry for prospective clients 3+ years’ experience in event sales/management or equivalent relevant experience Familiarity with CRM tools, Event Management Software, Google Workspace Suite
  • To create Baquet Event Orders Demonstrated relationships with the Atlanta Event community Proven background in strategizing and selling on-premise events Knowledge of practices and procedures of on-premise events Professional and effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays if needed Reliable Transportation Professional demeanor and appearance Self-Driven person and highly motivated/organized Able to manage multiple projects at once The Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to negotiate, influence and sell prospective clients or vendors Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines High degree of professionalism and confidentiality Responsibilities In this role, you will focus on selling SMERF Market including Weddings, networking, nurturing relationships, presenting customized event packages, and conducting on-site tours Actively attends trade shows, and networking events as needed You will also representing the venue at industry and community events The Event Venue Sales role focuses on cultivating relationships within the wedding and non profit industry, networking, and driving business growth This individual should excel at generating leads and attracting clients from the Atlanta area, providing end-to-end service to create a tailored experience for each event A passion for helping clients bring their visions to life, from the first interaction through on-site tours and the event itself, is highly desired This position involves selling high-end, custom events, such as weddings, gatherings, meetings, and social events Has existing relationships with planners and decision makers in the Atlanta market Engages in business development by way of networking, conducting research, coordination, and outbound sales Brings energy, enthusiasm, and laser-sharp focus to every client interaction; from first contact through tours, follow-up, and event completion Develops and maintains long-lasting client relationships and positive brand impressions Generates ideas on how to increase client portfolio and improve visibility/brand awareness Ensures clients’ needs are met and/or exceeded Works directly with the Vendors on execution of events and expectations of clients if needed Event Sales/ Individual Sales goal accountability Always maintain a healthy pipeline that ensures achievement of established revenue targets Creates proposals, contracts, and addendums, Banquet Event Orders, floor plans and finds opportunities to “Up Sell” event features Participate in all regular and operational meetings as required Demonstrates exemplary communication skills•written, over the phone, and in person Conduct outside sales calls to vendors that offer related services to our clients such as rentals, catering, entertainment, decor, event planning services, and any additional services requested Able to work nights and weekends to tour on Saturdays, Sundays and evenings and to be present at Weddings All other duties as required Method Co.
