SUMMARY
ORR Protection is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales Excellence & Operations to lead and optimize our sales processes, tools, and data-driven decision-making reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. This individual contributor role will be responsible for implementing and managing a new CRM system (HubSpot), customer master data governance, sales compensation programs, and sales analytics to drive efficiency and maximize revenue growth. The position will be based in Atlanta, GA (Remote) and the role is not eligible for relocation assistance.
This individual will design, implement, and maintain the necessary infrastructure and sales philosophy to support a high-performing sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, CRM strategy, sales compensation, and data analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM (HubSpot) Strategy, Implementation & Training
Design and implement a scalable and efficient CRM system (HubSpot) to support the sales & marketing processes.
Migrate existing CRM data (ODOO) to “new” CRM (HubSpot). Define and enforce best practices, workflows, and sales guidelines within the CRM.
Develop and lead CRM training programs to ensure adoption and proficiency across the sales team.
Continuously refine CRM data integrity, reporting, and automation processes to enhance productivity and visibility.
Customer Master Data Governance
Design and oversee a customer master data process to ensure consistency and accuracy across all ORR systems.
Lead data clean-up initiatives and implement ongoing governance protocols.
Integrate customer master data across CRM (HubSpot), ERP (ODOO), and other business systems (ADP, Inspect Point, ProCore, etc.).
Maintain and monitor data quality, ensuring proper ownership and accountability within the organization.
Sales Compensation Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and implement effective compensation plans that align with business objectives.
Identify and establish annual sales targets and quotas, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Issue Quota Attainment Forms (QAFs) and compensation plans for sales teams.
Calculate monthly sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
In collaboration with IT & Finance, design and maintain compensation dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into earnings and performance.
Sales Data Analytics & Performance Management
Own and optimize pipeline management processes to improve forecasting accuracy and opportunity tracking.
Develop CRM dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
Analyze key performance metrics, including win rates, deal velocity, quota attainment, and customer retention.
Partner with leadership to implement sales process improvements based on data-driven insights.
Partner with marketing to ensure seamless & effective lead to revenue process with campaign ROI insights
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong communication, sales, presentation, management, and leadership skills; goal-oriented, flexible, and creative under pressure; knowledge of current CRM best practices and associated/integrated platforms
Strong data analysis and visual data representation skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing/sales enablement leadership role, preferred
Lead generation management experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of
CRM & ERP
systems, marketing campaign & email tools, & Google suite
Must be able to navigate and work with web based systems like data visualization & analyzation tools (Looker Studio), project management tools, CRM, etc.
HubSpot knowledge/experience preferred.
