Sales Manager Decatur City Lifestyle Decatur, GA 30030 Position Overview We’re seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our advertising partnerships. In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for securing advertising sales, managing client relationships, overseeing contracts, and ensuring the successful execution of campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the voice and reach of a beloved local publication. Key Responsibilities Sell print and digital advertising across all magazine platforms to local businesses Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through in-person meetings, calls, and emails Understand clients’ needs and tailor marketing solutions to meet their business goals Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and manage all aspects of the sales process from pitch to signed contract Coordinate closely with editorial and design teams to ensure seamless ad placement and campaign delivery Track and manage sales pipeline, renewals, and deadlines to meet revenue goals Represent the magazine at community events, networking opportunities, and client meetings What We’re Looking For 2+ years of sales experience (media sales or marketing/advertising experience a plus) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to build client relationships and manage expectations Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through Confidence in negotiating, closing deals, and handling contract logistics Passion for community-driven storytelling and the power of local media Someone local the Decatur, GA area Bonus Points If You Have A strong network in the local business community Familiarity with CRM tools Experience with luxury, lifestyle, or regional publications Perks Opportunity to grow into a full-time role as revenue scales.
