Business Development Manager – Logistics/Warehouse Pipeline Sales Staffing and Consulting Atlanta, GA • Hybrid work Position Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer accounts for warehousing, transportation, and other logistics services. The Business Development Manager will focus on multi-level relationships with customers including: prospecting, networking with customers, building relationships, and finding selling opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential Sales functions include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct calls & visits each week Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new customers Complete Scheduled prospect appointments Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue (mainly in warehousing) Provide weekly metrics on prospects, proposals, etc. Coordinate and interact with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure NEMA’s capabilities are presented to prospects in a factual and consistent manner Maintain accurate records, including call reports, pricing quotes, expense reports, etc. Send Daily reports to the President Participate in training and coaching sessions as prescribed by your Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred 2-5 years of outside Sales Experience required (experience in Logistics is preferred) Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
