The Opportunity:
As an individual contributor BDM, you’ll own thefull sales cycle for SLED accounts while supporting our Sales VP inmanaging strategic federal/state government relationships. This isa hunter-farmer role where you’ll both develop new business andnurture existing client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Driverevenue growth across state/local governments and education (SLED)sectors Manage and expand relationships with existing governmentclients nationwide Support Sales VP in strategic Gov/state accountmanagement Develop winning proposals for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs acrossmultiple contract vehicles Maintain 4-5x pipeline coverage ofquarterly targets Represent BuzzClan at government tech conferencesand industry events Collaborate with solutions teams to architectclient-specific offerings
Must-Have Qualifications:
5 years sellingIT services to government (SLED) Proven track record managing -Mgovernment accounts Deep understanding of government procurementcycles and contracting Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, and statecooperative contracts Ability to work independently as anindividual contributor Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%)
Preferred Experience But Not Mandatory:
Existing relationships withgovernment IT buyers Knowledge of Texas DIR, NASPO, and othercooperative contracts Background in IT staffing, cloud, or datasolutions Familiarity with government security requirements(Fed
RAMP, CJIS
