We seek a seasoned, client-facing consultant with established leadership skills to direct a diverse team of advisory and delivery professionals. This role involves onsite, hands-on management of client engagements across multiple practices within our Digital Solutions portfolio, including Data, Cloud, Application Development, Agile, and DevOps. The successful candidate will guide efforts, direct talents, and expand knowledge to deliver strategic solutions, acting as the primary liaison between clients and our delivery teams. The role emphasizes successful delivery while leveraging trusted advisor relationships to explore additional client needs and develop proposals. Principal Consultants maintain close contact with clients throughout project durations.

Responsibilities Client Delivery:

Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops. Manage customer expectations effectively. Lead technical project teams in delivering consulting services. Oversee objectives, requirements, milestones, project status, dependencies, and timelines to ensure timely, successful delivery aligned with business goals. Break down problems, identify influencing factors, and determine approaches. Approve final project deliverables. Present deliverables to client executive management.

Business Development:

Support pursuits through client discovery meetings to qualify opportunities and develop proposals. Represent services during sales cycles, including scoping, proposal development, and presentations. Build relationships with clients and present technical solutions to C-Level executives.

Practice Development & Thought Leadership:

Enhance AHEAD’s advisory and deployment service offerings. Act as a technology thought leader and evangelist. Maintain broad knowledge of IT trends, technologies, and standards. Mentor team members. Qualifications Minimum 15 years of senior IT leadership experience overseeing modernization initiatives (eg, cloud, data governance, automation, agile adoption). Senior-level consulting experience. Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks (eg, OKRs). At least five years of executive technology consulting experience. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. Excellent communication skills. Proven business acumen and problem-solving abilities. Interpersonal skills and executive presence. Experience as a technology change agent. MBA is a plus.
