Who we are:
Wespecialize in supplying seal less metallic centrifugal, multi-stagecentrifugal, and side channel pumps with a magnetic coupling. Allunits are carefully sized and built to the customer’s particularfluid, hydraulic requirements and condition point. Our pumps arenot mass produced but rather are manufactured to the higheststandards for very specific chemical environments and applications.
What you will do: As the Regional Sales Manager – Industrial, youwill lead customer relationship management efforts and develop newcustomers in supplying seal less metallic centrifugal, multi-stagecentrifugal, and side channel pumps with a magnetic coupling inIndustrial Markets of Southeast Region. Calls on end-usercustomers, engineering firms and OEMs who specify/purchase ourequipment and effectively influence their purchasingspecifications. Develops new customers within the market/region.
Finds new applications for our products. Manage and supportrelationship with existing customers, working to promote and growcompany’s aftermarket business across assigned territory.
Effectively manages the relationship with key customer accounts,understands the landscape within each key account, the decisionsmakers and how decisions are made. Provides support to customers,OEM’s, and engineering firms as needed and as applicable: equipmentselection, review of specifications, compliance with standards, thetotal cost of ownership assessments, etc. Prepares quotations andbid submittals and coordinates support as required for pre-bidmeetings and follow up. Prepares and delivers professionalpresentations and coordinates customer education efforts asrequired. Prepares sales projections, forecasts, strategies,reports as required. Assists in development and implementation ofmarketing plans as required and supports preparations for regionaland national trade shows. Attends and works the show as needed.
Supports order processing efforts and effectively supports customerfollow-up activities throughout the order execution process.
Interacts professionally with project management, engineering,production, and customer support personnel to provide knowledgeregarding specific customers and orders.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school), Relevantexperience in lieu of degree will be considered
Experience:
5 Yearsof experience in sale of industrial equipment is required. Directexperience with seal less metallic centrifugal, multi-stagecentrifugal, and side channel pumps with a magnetic coupling is aplus.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate Computer Knowledge:
Able tocreate, use, navigate and perform reports at an Intermediate levelof proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Job Specific Software:
Basic ability to create, use and retrieveproject related information from ERP systems, Product Configuratorsoftware, CRM software
Other Skills:
Ability to calculate figuresand amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Must havemotivational skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet customercommitments in a timely and “above expectations” manner.
