- -Summary / Role Purpose TheSenior Product Sales Manager (SPSM) for Cloud (m/f/d) isresponsible for driving and supporting collaborative sales effortsto grow Ansys’ usage in the cloud. Acting as a key link between thesales and engineering teams, this role focuses on expanding cloudadoption and profitability at Ansys across all cloud options.
- Thesuccessful candidate will be accountable for the continued growthof cloud-based offerings by providing cloud-based solutions toAnsys customers. They will excel in presenting to customers,identifying their needs, and crafting compelling value propositionsthat align with business objectives.
- With a deep understanding ofcustomer business priorities and performance metrics, the SPSM willeffectively communicate the value Ansys’ cloud products deliver. Atechnical background, particularly in simulation and cloudtechnologies, is essential to align customer objectives with thetechnical viability of emerging cloud products.
- As a subjectmatter expert, the SPSM will be responsible for achieving directsales quotas within the cloud product line while supporting overallsuccess across all cloud offerings, all within an overlaystructure.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities Performs product sales activities fornew/renewal business for one or more assigned product lines toachieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives
- Sells products/services through telephone as well as face-to-facecontact

- field and enterprise sales withinAnsys and Channel partners, to collaboratively develop and executestrategies that drive product and service revenue as part of anoverall account

- Uncovers opportunities in current andnew accounts for specific product or solution and hand over todirect sales team.

- product capabilities,success stories and winning strategies.
- Establishes, develops andmaintains business relationships with current and prospective-customers to generate new business for the organization’s productsand services

Identifies Ansys advantages and

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Education & Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business or relatedfield with 4+
- years sales or consulting experience in sellingengineering/technology
- applications with a proven track record ofsuccess

- Ability to work cross-functionallywith several teams (ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM etc.) and hierarchieswithin the
