Our client is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales, Absence Management to work on a fully remote schedule.

Sales | Executive Leadership Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer About the Role The Vice President of Sales, Absence will lead the strategic growth and execution of sales initiatives for the organization’s absence management solutions. This executive role is responsible for driving revenue, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and positioning the company as a market leader in absence management. The ideal candidate is a visionary sales leader with a strong track record in enterprise sales and team leadership. Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across absence management product lines. Lead, coach, and scale a team of experienced business development professionals. Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to refine go-to-market strategies. Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM adoption and best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers. Collaborate with internal teams to support customer renewals and long-term growth. Represent the company at industry events and with strategic partners to enhance brand visibility. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in absence management or related HR/benefits sectors. Proven success in developing and executing enterprise sales strategies. Experience managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals. Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven sales forecasting. Strong business acumen, leadership presence, and a results-oriented mindset. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with brokers, consultants, and large enterprise clients. Background in SaaS, healthcare, or employee benefits industries. Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
