This role involves strategic planning, event management, and collaboration with various teams to deliver high-quality catering services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and driving business growth. Duties Develop and implement catering strategies that align with organizational goals. Manage the planning and execution of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. Collaborate with clients to customize catering menus that meet their needs and preferences. Oversee budgeting processes for catering events, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards. Lead a team of catering staff, providing training and support to enhance performance and service delivery. Foster relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality products are used in catering services. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize revenue from catering services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all catering operations. Monitor guest feedback to continuously improve service offerings and address any concerns promptly. Requirements Proven experience in events management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry. Strong fundraising skills are a plus, particularly in managing events that require sponsorship or donations. Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in banquet operations or restaurant management is highly desirable. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, vendors, and team members. A passion for the culinary arts and an understanding of current food trends is beneficial.
