A Unit of the Technical College System of Georgia What You’ll Do
As Executive Director, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategic Vision:

Lead Accelerate Augusta’s long-term growth, aligning innovation with community and college goals.

Program Development:

Build and scale programs that help entrepreneurs start, grow, and thrive.

Partnerships & Fundraising:

Forge collaborations with business leaders, investors, nonprofits, and government. Identify and pursue funding opportunities.

Thought Leadership:

Represent Accelerate Augusta across the region-online, on stage, and in the media.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage staff, faculty collaborators, and volunteers to deliver results.
You’ll report to Augusta Tech’s leadership and work cross-functionally to elevate innovation across the college and community.
What You Bring

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
5+ years in entrepreneurship, small business, venture capital, or economic development
Experience launching or scaling a business, program, or accelerator

Preferred:

Graduate degree (MBA, MS, or PhD in business, tech, or related fields)
Proven success in partnership-building, fundraising, and strategic planning
Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of current business trends, innovation ecosystems, and entrepreneurial best practices
