POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Dealer Sales Manager for the Southeast Region is responsible for driving sales and supporting dealer relationships across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana, and Virginia. This role focuses on expanding market presence by identifying and developing new dealer and fleet accounts, presenting East Trailers’ products, and providing post-sale support including warranty facilitation and customer service.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Promote and sell East Trailers products and services to existing and prospective dealers and customers.
  • Conduct needs assessments and cost-benefit analyses to tailor solutions and prepare accurate sales quotes.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Deliver product and sales training to dealer partners.
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach and cold-calling.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and equitably to ensure satisfaction and uphold company standards.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including quoting, order placement, and order modifications.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Utilize internal systems such as Macola and Outlook for communication and data entry.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Uphold and demonstrate company core values in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of trailer products.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and CRM tools.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Sales, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment industry.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
  • Primarily field-based with regular travel to customer sites and monthly visits to company facilities.
  • Must be able to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, read, and drive.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT USED

Computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, calculator, tape measure, safety glasses, ear plugs, earmuffs, and steel toe boots.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Up to 75% travel required within the assigned region.
