From corporate luncheons and private parties to large-scale weddings and events, we deliver customized catering solutions across the Greater Baton Rouge area. We’re seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Manager to grow our catering business and ensure seamless execution from lead to event day.
Position Summary:
The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for driving catering sales, building strong client relationships, managing event logistics, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This is a client-facing, results-driven role that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new catering business through networking, prospecting, cold calling, and community outreach. Respond promptly to inbound catering inquiries, conduct client consultations, and prepare customized proposals and contracts. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, venues, and vendors. Collaborate with the kitchen, operations, and service teams to ensure accurate execution of client expectations. Be on-site for key events, including large scale or high profile functions, to ensure smooth operations and provide client support as needed Manage event details from initial booking to post-event follow-up, including timelines, menus, logistics, and payments. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals. Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems. Represent the brand at community events, tastings, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality sales. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused with a high attention to detail and follow-through. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales software (e.g., Tripleseat, Caterease, or similar). Flexible schedule, including availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
