GDIT is seeking a Account Growth Director for its Technology Shared Services (TSS) sector. The
GDIT TSS
team is a horizonal organization that supports all four of GDIT’s divisions (FedCiv, FedHealth, Defense, and Intelligence) delivering professional services, managed services, and differentiated capabilities. You will lead TSS’ growth engine by partnering with all four division growth teams to support new and recompete opportunities. In addition, you will support organic growth by partnering with GDIT program teams to staff and deliver technical resources and solutions. You will own the development of a pipeline & support capture strategies including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identify GDIT potential programs/customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win, and participate in bid and proposal activities. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of growth and strategy development, new business development, and customer relationship management across all levels. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to play a leadership role as we work together to create the Next GDIT and apply the breadth of resources available to critical technology and mission challenges. HOW AN ACCOUNT DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that clearly highlights GDIT’s TSS value proposition, discriminators, and provides customers with a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for award
Establish value add teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost
Cross GDIT collaboration to develop marketing that aligns with company’s strategic plan
Achieve YOY growth aligned to corporate objectives
Provide leadership across the TSS growth team on the new business capture lifecycle – from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post submission phases of the Business Capture Process
Develop, maintain, and update the pipeline of new opportunities in coordination with Delivery Areas
Design and execute customer engagement strategy and collaborate with technical staff to propose and test potential solutions
Prepare for and present opportunities for executive level bid decisions and pipeline reviews
Throughout opportunity life cycle, provide insight from the customer’s point of view
Maintain on-going interaction with the FedCiv/ FedHealth / Defense/ Intel growth teams
Foster broad customer and partner relationships including regular travel to customer sites and conferences
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
BS degree; additional years of BD experience may be considered in lieu of degree
5+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development
Extensive background developing business focused on IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, ERP solutions, and federal civilian + defense mission focused program support offerings
Demonstrated ability to grow and win business within professional and managed services organization
Strong communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated resiliency executing in a complex and highly matrixed organization supporting 250+ customers in multiple delivery models
Demonstrated experience briefing Fortune 500 executives
Proven experience across the entire sales funnel including rapid pursuit execution
Experience with Federal/Civilian / Defense budget, investments and acquisition processes
US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance

Salary Information
The likely salary range for this position is $187,000 – $253,000.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
