Director of Sales
Canton, MA Hybrid
Job Description:
Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Director of Sales to develop and lead a high-performing team of six account managers focused on strategic customer acquisition and growth. Reporting to the EVP of Sales & Marketing, this individual will play a critical role in driving the company’s revenue growth across core solution areas while fostering a strong, values-based sales culture.
Essential Job Functions:
Recruit, onboard, and develop strategic account managers
Set and manage revenue targets, sales KPIs, and forecasting accuracy
Drive the adoption of modern sales methodologies (e.g., Command of the Message)
Collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, and service delivery teams to align go-to-market strategies
Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships across key accounts
Support team members in strategic pursuits, opportunity qualification, and deal structuring
Conduct regular sales coaching, pipeline reviews, and joint customer meetings
Identify opportunities for expansion in current accounts and targeted verticals
Represent Aqueduct at industry events, partner engagements, and executive briefings
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of progressive sales experience in IT solutions or services, with 2+ years in a leadership role
Proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams
Experience in a high-growth, customer-centric organization
Strong strategic planning, analytical, and presentation skills
Familiarity with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and value-based selling frameworks
Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge in areas such as networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or data solutions
Proven ability to drive growth through net-new customer acquisition and expansion in existing account
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence buying decisions
