Job Summary:

Manage all facets of National and Regional markets to attain sales volume goals and financial control targets for Hood product categories across the Foodservice channel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Develop, train, and manage an effective Food Service distributor broker & Food Service direct customer network. Attend all national tradeshows in partnership with Marketing peers to exhibit product lines and develop new business opportunities. Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and bringing on new business. Manage RFP (Request for Proposal) process for all new business opportunities to secure sustainable product placements and partnerships. Direct and maintain all sales forecasting activities as well as set performance goals accordingly for Direct customers and distributors. Manage customer financial management; to include promotions and marketing programs for all customers within geography. Manage trade fund program system and budgets with brokers and direct accounts Manage foodservice customers within assigned territory Set customer growth objectives based on company and personal goals Monthly and quarterly reviews of sales plan vs. actual Maintain New Customer Sales Funnel Communicate competitive market pricing, including price advances or declines for customers. Be aware of and react to competitive products and activities. Maintain close communication with various Hood LLC departments to effectively manage business. Attend various trade-related functions that enhance account relationships and HP HOOD position in market. Travel= 25-50%

Education and Experience:

BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 6-8 years’ relevant experience Experience within CPG refrigerated food/beverage sales field
