Our client is a leading manufacturer of UV instrumentation solutions with applications in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Laboratory Analysis, and others. With a focus on innovation and quality, the company is poised for global expansion and seeks a high-caliber Vice President of Sales to lead and drive strategic sales growth.
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the overall sales strategy and execution, focusing on expanding international distributor networks and driving significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will ideally possess UV technology expertise and a proven track record of successfully working with and onboarding distributors, particularly in international markets. This high-impact leadership role requires strategic vision, data-driven decision-making, and a strong sense of urgency to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on short- and long-term growth. Identify, recruit, and manage new international distributors, focusing on driving expansion into key global markets. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and performance management of distributors. Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with the company’s strategic direction. Leverage data analysis and KPIs to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide clear, compelling communication of value propositions to distributors and end-users. Develop and maintain competitive intelligence and adapt strategies to evolving market trends. Partner with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure alignment across the organization. Coach, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team as required.
Required Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the UV instrumentation sector or closely related fields (NDT, Laboratory Analysis, Forensics). Understanding of UV technology and its applications in multiple industries. Extensive experience working with international distributors, with a history of successfully expanding distributor networks and increasing global sales. Strong negotiation skills and a history of building long-term partnerships with distributors. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics. High level of urgency, ownership, and drive for results. Ability to craft and deliver a self-directed sales strategy with minimal oversight. Experience working with ERP and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience managing direct sales teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in target industries.

A competitive-based salary package & performance-based incentives are available, commensurate with experience and results.
