We are seeking a talented individual with a passion for hospitality to serve as our sales manager. This person should have prior hotel experience and possess excellent organizational skills, a dedication to interpersonal communications and the ability to balance guest needs, outside sales and business tracking. Essential Duties Understand sales efforts within the market to drive both Occupancy and ADR. Actively identify, qualify and solicit new and existing accounts that have a real business need for lodging and meet the overall profitability requirements for the property. Effectively utilize all sources of industry and competitive intelligence to uncover business opportunities and market trends for the required segment. Conduct direct sales calls, telemarketing activities, local market blitzes and hotel tours. Motivate team to drive revenue, control costs and protect assets of the hotel. Interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships. Effectively respond to guests regarding service challenges. Understand and assist General Manager with basic accounts payable/accounts receivable functions. Prior hotel sales experience is preferred; salary is based on experience.
