Regional Sales Manager 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 7315 Galvan Way, Harrisburg, NC 28075 Company Galvan Industries is a sixty-seven-year-old, privately held manufacturing company located in the Charlotte, NC area. The company has two divisions, Electrical Products which manufactures hot-dip galvanized, copper-coated and stainless-steel ground rods along with a full line of accessories. The Galvanizing Division specializes in providing galvanizing services to the steel fabricators and manufacturers throughout the Southeast. Starting as the first hot-dip galvanizing operations in the Carolinas. Description We are looking for an Experienced Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company. You should be able to remotely supervise a team of Electrical sales reps and set profitable goals. Build programs to maximize sales, sales programs to address the needs of Sales Rep Organizations, Electrical Distributors and Utilities. Our ideal candidate combines excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives Evaluate markets and individual sales rep performances and rep organizations Provide blanket and job quotes Evaluate existing rep organizations and assist in selecting and training new sales rep organizations Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction Prepare and discuss sales data reporting Develop strategies to target specific markets for business growth Required Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience Proven work experience as a National, Regional or Area Sales Manager or similar senior sales role in the electrical / telecommunications fields. Comfortable with Microsoft office and Sales software General understanding of plant operations Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Availability to travel nationally, 30-50% as needed Must live in or willing to re-locate to the Charlotte, NC metro area Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field required. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of Electrical Products business experience Master’s Degree
