Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of licensed sales professionals Set the standard by actively selling and contributing to overall agency production Assess annual sales goals and build actionable plans to achieve them Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier sales talent Hold team members accountable to performance metrics and agency standards Foster a positive, high-energy environment that promotes growth and success Manage difficult conversations and terminate employees when necessary with professionalism and clarity Act as a key driver in shaping agency culture and momentum Report on sales progress and pipeline metrics to agency leadership
Qualifications:
Advanced degree from college or technical school; a combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates without an advanced degree North Carolina Property and Casualty License 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and lead others A “lead from the front” mentality, actively contributing to sales success Comfortable with performance management and accountability systems Experience with Applied Epic preferred
