This is a direct hire opportunity, working remotely with travel up to fifty percent. This performance-based role offers a competitive salary and eligibility to participate in a commission plan. The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to lead sales efforts for Phases I-III clinical trials, with a strong focus on oncology. They will have prior sales experience in oncology, infectious disease, and vaccine development research, and a proven ability to cultivate strategic client relationships while driving revenue growth. Responsibilities Generating new business opportunities in an assigned territory. Drive client engagement through compelling presentations, RFPs, and bid defenses. Effectively communicate the scientific and operational value of FHI Clinical’s services to prospective clients. Establish and maintain strong relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic stakeholders. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support the proposal process and ensure seamless execution. Requirements Master’s degree, MBA or MPH is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related field is the required minimum. 3 to 5 years of experience in Clinical Research Sales or Life Sciences Sales is required. Strong experience with Oncology Clinical Trials. Demonstrated success in sales/business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO sectors. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills combined with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the client voice internally. Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
