The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, previous swimming pool/spa experience preferred, and the ability to effectively manage store operations. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and achieving sales targets while maintaining a well-organized store. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including staff management and inventory control. Ensure high standards of customer service by training and mentoring staff on best practices. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control to optimize sales. Operate cash registers and oversee financial transactions to ensure accuracy. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and enhance sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout that aligns with company standards. Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors to foster positive relationships. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting as needed. Skills Previous swimming pool/spa retail experience preferred Knowledge in swimming pool/spa water test readings preferred Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Proficient in cash register operation and POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and suppliers. Ability to negotiate with vendors for optimal pricing and product availability. Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions in diverse communities. Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and administrative duties efficiently. Exceptional communication skills to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
