LI-Remote What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead a SDR team (inbound & outbound) that fuels Avalara’s pipeline across all geos and segments (SMB to Enterprise). Increase adoption of AI-powered tools, automation, and data-driven outreach strategies. Scale repeatable processes for hiring, training, and developing early-career talent—our future sales leaders. Launch new outbound motions in India; build second-line leadership in global markets. Align tightly with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to lead cross-functional execution. Carry and grow the global SDR quota tied to SQL production. What You’ll Need to be
Successful:
15+ years in B2B sales or revenue leadership, with 7+ years leading large, distributed SDR/BDR or inside sales teams. Deep experience leading global teams, especially across US and India, and building outbound engines in emerging markets. A builder’s mindset and experience operating in both high-growth SaaS companies and earlier-stage environments. A passion for early-career talent development and internal mobility. Operational acumen and data literacy—you think in systems and use insights to guide decisions. Hands-on experience with modern sales tech (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, AI-driven workflows). Comfort navigating change, bringing clarity to ambiguity, and earning trust through action. Who You Are Humble, curious, and adaptable. You lead with a growth mindset. Engaging and people-first.
