$180k

Purpose of Position:
As a vocal customer interface, help the organization and the peers to create value to customers through products, services, and problem solving. With P/L responsibility, lead, direct, develop and drive sales & services activities which are aligned to the overall division business strategy and objectives. Responsible for the development and implementation of the division’s strategy in the region to achieve the long-term financial objectives. Responsible for front line Sales & Services operations and activities i.e. developing and maintaining a customer centric operation, building long term relationships with Customers at all levels. Key Accountabilities:
Sales Management Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at leadership management level to develop and implement sales & marketing strategies that are aligned with the division strategy and objectives. Translate these into annual plans. Responsible for leading and executing the annual plans in the region. Pursue and develop sales and service activities to grow the market shares. Works closely with Product and Services, Marketing and R D to create a collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth globally. Ensure that the region achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and high level of compliance through the organization. Review and monitor sales performance periodically to refine sales strategies and execution plans that contribute to the division strategy and direction. Sales Operational Excellence Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at leadership management level to develop and implement sales & marketing strategies that are aligned with the division strategy and objectives. Networking and Influencing Negotiate with customers, industry peers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage and influence buying patterns, customer satisfaction and product and service development. Negotiate terms of sales and deal with key accounts and global accounts. Relationship Management Engage with key customers to nurture a strong relationship and to stay attuned to customer feedback including competitive knowledge, and follow up the leads on any new or expansion requirements. Provide proactive support to customers and the regional team to solve problems and ensure smooth operations. Financial Management Manage regional sales and service sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas Responsible for regional P/L, yearly budget and business review. Oversee customers AR performance in the region. Agent/Partner Management Ensure regional Agents provide satisfactory standards of service. Developing and managing the best road to market via agents/ distributors for the region in accordance to the company guidelines. People Leadership Establish an effective and efficient sales and service structure, ways of working, account planning for the region to achieve both the short term and long-term targets, which is compliance to the company guidelines. Challenge, guide, develop and coach the team to continuously improve key skills; keep them challenged, while emphasizing a learning orientation and managing performance effectively to ensure that the business achieves its objectives. What you will need to succeed
Education:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or related field preferred
Previous Career Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Cargo Management industry out of which 10 years in regional leadership position with P/L responsibilities
Technical Skills:
