What You’ll Do Win business by promoting our products and services to contractors, end-users, dealers, and companies Grow and maintain your account base through cold calling and relationship building Execute the IMPACT sales process: Investigate, Meet, Probe, Close, Tie-up Represent the company at client lunches, dinners, or networking events Resolve customer issues and escalate as needed to protect relationships Collaborate with accounting to help establish customer credit limits Report on lead progress, account statuses, and sales results Meet and exceed personal and team sales goals Support team efforts both in the office and occasionally on the production floor Adapt to various indoor and outdoor conditions when visiting customers or walking the floor Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and competitive team culture This is just a glimpse of what you’ll be doing. The idea of maxing out your bonus fires you up Comfortable working in a team-based “sales pit” environment (this is not a cubicle job. It’s collaborative, loud, and fun) Our sales floor runs on energy, urgency, and momentum. If you love a little noise, high-fives, and real-time wins, you’ll fit right in. Skilled at uncovering what makes your customer tick and using that insight to build genuine, lasting relationships Basic Qualifications 0-2 years of prior sales experience (industrial/manufacturing preferred, but not required) Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially over the phone (cold calling is required) Solid tech skills: MS Office Suite, G-Suite, CRM systems Must arrive to work on time and be prepared to meet daily expectations Willingness to collaborate in-office and occasionally on the manufacturing floor Must be able to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods Able to lift up to 50 pounds if needed Must be able to see and hear (with or without correction) Occasional short-duration travel may be required Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to work hard while having fun Compensation and Perks $55K-$65K base salary Bonus eligible after 6 months. Realistic potential to earn $150K-$200K annually Overtime may be required to be your best and hit top performance goals We work hard here, Sometimes that means staying late to close the deal.
