TM is also responsible for managing their sales consultants to achieve the goals and objectives of the company. The Territory Manager is expected to have excellent working relationships with all store level management personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent Caffey Distributing Company/Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service. Always thank each account for their patronage. The ability to run open sales routes. Formulate a plan to increase sales and distribution of all brands. Manage sales consultants to achieve company standards in all accounts. Assist in the interview process to select the best candidate for an open position. Key account selling in assigned area. Plan and direct sales and merchandising efforts in assigned area to ensure the results are consistent with company goals and objectives. Conduct ride-withs to train and develop sales consultants and to look for opportunities for improvement. Assist sales consultant with establishing specific objectives and expectations for each of their accounts. Progress on objectives should be reviewed weekly. Help maintain organization and cleanliness of all storage areas in the warehouse. Maintain a friendly, working relationship with the Manager of each account. Effectively communicate with the Store Manager about new products, price promotions and opportunities. Listen to and resolve service complaints. Maintain confidentiality of sales figures for your accounts and for certain chains you may work for. Maintain safe driving record and comply with Caffey/CPB driving policy. Confer with DSM to resolve customer problems, opportunities, competitive activity in your market, and potential overage situations. Be proficient in all systems related to sales and service used in managing the business. Ensure sales consultants always adhere to Safety Policy and complete the required monthly safety observations Conduct required monthly stores scores Attending all scheduled meetings and company functions as required. Complete all assigned online training courses within the appropriate time frame. Make sure your team has completed all online training courses within the appropriate time frame. Adhere to dress code and be properly attired with name badge. Obey all federal, state, and local laws. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
