Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our customer base. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through schools, community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to grow the company’s customer base and revenue. Build and maintain relationships with schools, education administrators, PTAs, and community organizations. Analyze market trends and customer needs to craft targeted outreach and sales strategies. Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, content, and materials for lead generation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master’s a plus). 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles—ideally in education or edtech. Strong understanding of the tutoring/education industry preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.
