Charlotte, NC Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, organized, passionate, excited, and inspired Regional Sales Manager to join our team of passionate Tool Rebels. This role is crucial in managing and growing our customer base, and supporting our sales agency network, in the South-Eastern US territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our existing customers and driving new business opportunities back to our distribution partners. Key Responsibilities:

Be a Tool Rebel! Represent Wera Tools in the field with passion and enthusiasm for the brand. Solve problems and think outside the box for our customers to provide innovative solutions.

Customer Relationship Management:

Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring a reliable and mutually beneficial partnership experience. Educate and train customers on both existing and new products to enhance their user experience.

Business Development:

Proactively engage in cold calling to schedule meetings with end users, focusing on understanding their needs and offering solutions that make their work easier, safer, and more fun. Identify and drive new business opportunities, channeling them back to our distribution partners for further development.

Merchandising and Product Display:

Work with customers to build customized product displays that best represent our brand and promote product turnover for the customers. Ensure that product displays are always current and optimized for visibility, sales performance, and alignment with brand guidelines.

Trade Shows and Events:

Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities to increase brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.

Product and Market Knowledge:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the territory. Provide feedback to the Sales and Marketing team on customer needs, market trends, and product performance.

Remote Work and Team Collaboration:

Work remotely while maintaining a strong connection with a supportive team that collaborates closely to ensure mutual success and brand growth. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.

Qualifications:
Experience:

2-3 years of experience in outside sales or territory management. Experience with industrial B2C sales. Experience in the hand tool industry is a bonus but not required.

Skills and Characteristics:

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Organized, passionate, excited, inspired, and motivated by helping people do their jobs better. Comfortable working remotely and independently, with a strong sense of accountability. Excellent time and territory management.

Technical Requirements:

Knowledge and experience with CRM software; HubSpot preferred. An understanding of hand tools and their applications.
