What You’ll Do Remote position, preferably based in the Northeastern United States (other U.S. locations considered for candidates willing to travel to client sites) As Director, Business Development – Health Outcomes Services, you will bring strategic business development expertise to strengthen relationships with RTI-HS’s targeted clients. Ideally, you are a highly independent self-starter who can nurture existing business and identify new opportunities with minimal oversight. Your primary objective is to increase awareness of RTI-HS’s services, generate RFPs, and convert them into project awards-focusing on global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic, and medical device companies across all our service areas: Health Economics

Epidemiology, Safety, and Biostatistics In this role, you will: Identify and pursue new business opportunities at both new and existing pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic, and medical device companies
Acquire RFPs and successfully convert them into project awards
Lead with a Trusted Strategic Partner mindset in all client and internal interactions
Work closely with practice areas to develop strategies for presenting services to clients and winning new business
Develop and execute highly focused, comprehensive Strategic Account Plans
Identify opportunities, and coordinate and lead presentations of our capabilities to new and existing clients
Establish and manage relationships with procurement teams and other key client stakeholders
Represent RTI-HS at professional conferences and industry events
Assist in maintaining accurate client and contact information in the CRM system, and contribute to optimizing client outreach strategies To Be Successful in

This Role, You Will Possess:

The ability to quickly build relationships internally and externally, establishing trust and credibility
Strong business acumen, including financial insight and strategic sales experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal effectiveness What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a health-related or business management field
10+ years of successful and progressive business development experience, with a proven track record in selling health outcomes services
Demonstrated success as a business development professional with deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
Proven ability to collaborate with both business development and technical teams to best serve client needs
Prior experience delivering health outcomes services to pharmaceutical clients, either as a consultant or within a pharma company, is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to bring in new RFPs and convert them into project wins
Extensive relationships within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially
