(CCS), a leading independent chemical distributor throughout the United States, focuses on customer service, sustainability, and innovative solutions for our business partners. Colonial Chemical Solutions, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc . Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the person in this role is responsible for growing Commercial and Industrial sales in markets on the West side of the country. The successful candidate will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success. Director of Sales will lead as the point contact for the full life cycle of our customer relationship. Director of Sales will work to achieve annual volume and margin targets.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

Facilitate a sales and operations environment that builds and maintains professional and profitable business relationships with our current and prospective customers. Direct engagement with strategic customer relations and ownership of the customer experience. Contribute to and support CRM strategy and discipline. Expand the company’s presence in West Coast markets. Manages the Customer Portfolio through management review processes to establish forecasts and analysis of actual performance against the budget. Oversees sales process through contract generation and implementation. Implement and execute dynamic portfolio pricing and margin optimization/strategies. Partner with marketing to execute the marketing strategy for the natural gas business while remaining aligned to the marketing strategy of Colonial Energy and Colonial Group. Company representative/ambassador at industry conferences and events. Ensure all sales comply with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain ethical business practices and uphold the company’s reputation. Responsible for reporting on sales productivity and customer profitability. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, related fields, or commensurate experience. 5+ years in chemical distributions or oil and gas industry. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel. 5+ years of experience in senior level sales. Strong business and sales acumen required. Strong attention to detail. Thrives in a fast-paced market-facing environment. Outstanding communication (oral, writing and presentation skills). Demonstrated ability to work well across multiple teams and work styles in a corporate environment. Strong Excel Skills. Previous experience/exposure with/to CRM required, Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Acquisition integration experience is a plus.
