Job Description

Sales Manager AGC Signs Matthews, NC 28105 • Hybrid work Job Summary AGC Signs is growing, and we’re looking for a proactive, strategic, and hands-on Sales Manager to take the lead in shaping and scaling our sales department. As we expand, we need a strong leader to help establish and refine our sales process, build client relationships, and drive revenue. This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a leadership position with significant impact — you’ll work closely with ownership and initially manage a small team (currently one other salesperson or solo), with the opportunity to grow your team and responsibilities as we scale. This is a base pay + commission + performance incentives role, offering excellent earning potential for a driven individual. Duties Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company revenue goals and support future growth. Take ownership of the sales process — from lead generation to closing and project handoff. Mentor and lead a small team, with the expectation to expand the department as sales volume increases. Analyze market trends and customer needs to uncover and pursue new business opportunities. Oversee account management and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with internal teams to align sales with production, design, and marketing efforts. Maintain CRM records and generate regular performance reports. Conduct field visits, attend client meetings, and lead site surveys as needed. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering tailored signage solutions that deliver results. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, with at least some exposure to team leadership or management. Industry experience in signage, printing, or related fields preferred. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of driving initiatives with minimal oversight. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar), email, and digital productivity platforms. A strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically.
