The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving rental salesof light to medium-duty trucks from PTRs fleet by achievingopportunity-based sales goals. This role requires an advanced andambitious salesperson dedicated to expanding an existing book ofbusiness. Our company prides itself on providing excellent serviceand premier vehicles to a range of industries, includingconstruction, oil & gas, electrical, wind & solar, and telecom. Success in this position demands strong communication skills,extensive product knowledge, and the ability to cultivate and buildlong-term relationships with clients. The Territory Manager willtravel extensively throughout the assigned territory, with aminimum travel requirement of 50%. This position includes a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, andcredit card to support the execution of duties effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
Relentlessly pursuebusiness targets through effective sales strategies for theterritory, aiming to achieve business objectives and revenuetargets.
Client Relationship Management:
Obtain new customer accounts,expand current customer accounts, and assist existing customers inexpanding their business footprints. Build and foster a network ofreferrals to create new opportunities for territory growth.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain deep knowledge and understanding ofeach product line PTR offers. Emphasize the features and benefitsof PTRs product offering, add-ons, and customization options.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identifyopportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape to informbusiness decisions.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Track and deliver on salestargets, analyze sales performance metrics, and adjust strategiesas needed to meet or exceed sales goals.
Product Demonstrations:
Perform product demonstrations whileon-site at customer locations to showcase PTRs product offeringsand their benefits.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document sales activities andachievements in the CRM Salesforce. Meticulously track and managecustomer data, ensuring streamlined operations and enhancedcustomer relationships. Prepare regular reports for managementreview.
Customer Support:
Provide ongoing support and consultation toclients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels ofcustomer satisfaction. Be recognized as a resource to our customersfor any questions about our products and their opportunities.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams,including marketing, operations, finance, continuous improvement,and the internal sales team, to ensure cohesive and effectivebusiness operations.
Travel Requirements:
Travel a minimum of 50% within theterritory, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work,to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-siteassessments and presentations.
Professional Representation:
Represent PTR in both professionaland social environments, including tradeshows, onsite meetings, andcustomer events.
Communication and Presentations:
Utilize the Microsoft Officesuite to develop presentations and respond to customer and internalcommunications promptly. Quickly and effectively establish genuinerelationships with people.
Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training anddevelopment programs to stay current with industry trends, productknowledge, and sales techniques.
Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure all sales activities comply withcompany policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have 5+ years of territory manager, regional account manager,regional sales manager, national sales manager, or outside salesexperience. Multi-state experience preferred. Ability to convert prospects into closed sales via advancedsales strategy skillset. Strong sales reporting, technical aptitude, and analysis skillsrequired. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectivelyinteract with personnel from all aspects of the business unit. Ability to take initiative and uniquely motivated to anticipateobstacles and challenges while remaining solution focused. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, andindustry standards. High energy, fast-paced professional that is honest andoperates with high ethical standards. Strong PC skills; early adopter of technology a plus. Excellent organization, presentation, communication, andfollow-through skills. 50% Minimum Travel Requirement. Nice to Have Bachelors degree in business or related field. Medium-duty truck rental, oil, gas, and utility salesexperience. Prior experience using CRMs such as Salesforce and prospectingtools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or lead managementsoftware. Existing relationships and customer base in the existingterritory. Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI and MicrosoftDynamics.
