Automotive General Sales Manager + Assistant General Manager Confidential North Carolina Job Overview Our auto group has a new acquisition coming soon in North Carolina! We are seeking a General Sales Manager who will also operate as the assistant General Manager. Our goal is to grow this individual into a full time General Manager. Duties Demonstrated excellence in used vehicle operations, including acquisition, pricing, and inventory turn Proven ability to develop, mentor, and promote strong leadership within the team History of driving outstanding results in a high-volume retail environment Consistently high customer satisfaction scores & performance Hands-on leader who actively works the sales desk and takes customer turn-overs (TOs) Operates with a “lead from the front” mentality—our best managers are visible and involved daily Strong focus on process execution, accountability, and attention to detail Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and motivating all department managers Track record of success in multiple sales leadership roles Collaborates with sales management to ensure manufacturer volume objectives are consistently achieved Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with managers to establish goals and monitor performance Builds and maintains strong relationships with manufacturer reps and lending part Effectively communicates company policies, expectations, and fosters a positive team culture Drives employee engagement through recognition, training, and performance-based incentives Must be highly skilled in asset and inventory management Qualifications Must embody and promote the company’s core values through action and leadership Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management 5+ years of managerial experience in automotive retail preferred Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening Join our team as a Sales Manager where you can make an impact while driving success for our organization!
