JOB TITLE

District Manager (DM)

General Summary of Duties :

A District manager is a multi-site position, responsible for all aspects of locations within their district. They are to be self-motivated and have locations that are self-sustaining. The focus of a District Manager is the development of their respective management teams. There is a heavy focus on team building and recruitment, scheduling and logistics of the locations within the district, and report analysis with decisions and strategic movements made based on the information and trends in reports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 75 lbs., stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from ladders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: 1. District Manager should have DAILY conversations with GMs going through their numbers from the previous day. 2. District Manager needs to submit a weekly schedule and adhere to it. Any changes need to be approved by VP of Field Operations. 3. District Manager visits every site at least 16 hours at every location each month. 4. District Managers should open and close a site a minimum of 1-2 times per week. 5. The standard for a site visit should be at least 4 hours. 6. Site audits should be completed for each site per month. 7. Monthly cash/safe audit for each location with documentation. 8. Works with GMs on a strategic approach for improving brand awareness within the market. 9. Manages the business and daily operations of multiple sites to achieve company goals. 10. Provides daily activities for all on-staff employees that range from loading, cleaning and customer service and interaction. 11. Growth and Development of the management team across multiple locations. 12. Coordinates with VP of Field Operations on daily, monthly, yearly goals for membership sales and membership retention. 13. Responsible for the result of their location’s accounting and financial reporting. 14. Analyzes budget expectations to identify areas in which reductions can be made. 15. Promotes organization in all aspects of site management. 16. Ensures the site operates in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 17. Work with VP of Field Operations in budget planning. 18. Monitors sales/labors analysis at the District level and works with General Managers to execute on opportunities identified. 19. Works with General Managers/Supervisors on a strategic approach for improving brand awareness within the District. 20. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. EDUCATION

: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

: Minimum of five (5) years management experience and/or two (2+) years of multi-unit management experience. Previous car wash experience preferred. Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience.
