Come dowork that matters. We are looking for a seasoned leader to managethe sales team that owns Enterprise accounts. The team sells anddelivers complex platform solutions for the largest financialinstitutions in the country. This individual will be looked to bothlead their direct team and mentor other sales managers within theorganization. Blend grew from start-up to IPO by focusing on themortgage application. We’ve since expanded to an integratedplatform of products that surround the consumer lending journey. Aswe enter our next evolution, we’re changing the game again withconfigurable low-code tools that allow customers to use our provenbanking technology in flexible ways and stand up any new customerexperience on-the-fly. We need a sales leader who can bringcustomers into this vision and help us build with them as long termpartners. This role is accountable for all sales targets across ourmajor markets (Mortgage, Consumer Banking) within the largestcustomers and prospects. This includes acquiring net-new customersinto the Blend platform and cross-selling our portfolio of productsinto existing customers. The right candidate for this role has adeep understanding of complex sales processes with the largestfinancial institutions and a proven ability to target and win majornet new logos. We are focused on a finite, specialized market(banking/lending) and this individual must create long termpartnerships with customers and not just sell the deal. Blendfundamentally believes that our customer’s success drives oursuccess and this is reflected in the structure of our agreementsand consumption based pricing model. Blend’s success – and thesuccess of this role – is tied to long term customer outcomes andcustomer penetration. Beyond driving Sales, this role will also bea recognized leader in the broader business, driving company levelstrategy and partnering closely with the entire leadership team toshape Blend’s 5 year journey.

How Youll Contribute:

Own customeracquisition and cross-sell goals across our Mortgage, ConsumerBanking, and Ecosystem products for our largest customer andprospects. Deeply partner with banks to grow our relationship fromsingle-product to multi-product. Acquire significant net-newcustomers into the Blend platform. Help customer executivesprioritize innovation and speed – you are a consultant to thebanking C-suite as much as a sales leader. Mentor a team of 6 – 8AEs and help them develop into future leaders themselves.

Accurately forecast deals and diagnose issues proactively tounblock opportunities. Work with a dynamic product team to setproduct roadmaps, prioritize customers, and release features thatunlock revenue. Take an active voice in defining Blend’s strategyand market position.

Who You Are:

15 years in Saas Sales with 5years as a senior leader. Track record of fostering, navigating,and unlocking complex relationships with large customers andselling innovative technology roadmaps. Understanding of Mortgageand Consumer Banking industries a huge plus. Experience sellingplatform solutions (as opposed to single point solutions)beneficial. Exposure to consumption based pricing models ideal.

Bachelors degree or higher. To comply with local legislation, aswell as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we sharebase pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiringlocation. For full time hires, the hiring compensation range (OTE =Base Variable at 50/50 split) for this position is between $250,000- $350,000. Blend benefits and perks are described below. Finalbase pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors,including but not limited to function, level, geographic location,job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will beadjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
