The Partner Sales Manager (PSM)is an experienced managed services partner sales professionalresponsible for building and growing indirect sales as anindividual contributor in an assigned territory. This role will bea key sales accelerator for Egnyte, having the primary goal ofsales growth through pipeline generation and service offeringdevelopment with partners. The role involves execution of allaspects of channel management including partner recruitment,enablement, strategic partner planning, on-going partnermanagement, and co-selling into end-customer organizations withMSPs. The PSM will be a primary contact for territory partners andwill be responsible for managing the overall corporate relationshipwith those partners. The PSM will act as quarterback of a dedicatedpartner team within the defined territory, including a partneraccount manager, partner systems engineer and partner marketingmanager. This individual must excel at influencing and leadingcross functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets. The rolewill hold a unique sales quota, so experience in customer sales inorder to coach partners in selling Egnyte technology would behelpful.

What You’ll Do:

Own a Managed Service Provider salesterritory and unique quota, and act as overall quarterback for theMSP business within the territory – driving a comprehensiveterritory plan that identifies go-to partners within the territoryand engaging Egnyte sales specialists as needed to build partnercompetency. Develop partner’s capabilities and assist in developingpartner service offer build out around Egnyte solutions tofacilitate the sell through of Egnyte solutions through managedservice partners Identify partner GTM &/or services offerings;working with partner sales resources, services, marketing, etc. todevelop & launch offerings that drive of incremental revenue Build,maintain, and manage relationships with current and prospectivepartners, managing day-to-day and strategic efforts with thepartners. Establish productive, trust-based relationships with keypersonnel in assigned partner accounts, to provide partnership andEgnyte sales coaching to key team members Coordinate theinvolvement of Egnyte’s personnel, including support, service, andmanagement resources, in order to meet partner performanceobjectives and partners’ expectations. Meet assigned targets forprofitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assignedpartner accounts. Manage direct/channel conflict by fosteringexcellent communication between the channel and end user salesteams Ensures partner compliance with Channel Partner programs andagreements Drive strategic business planning with key partners thatdevelops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, andcritical milestones associated with a productive partnerrelationship. Builds relationships with technology vendors toidentify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared partners Workcross-functionally with Egnyte key stakeholders and build a”one-team” attitude across all extended team members Buildcapacity, capability, and collaboration within a portfolio ofPartners to achieve partner loyalty and drive partner wallet-share

Your Qualifications:

Previous experience of driving channel salesideally within the data security and/or cloud storage segment Hardworking, self-driven and highly motivated individual with greatteam spirit 8 years experience building and managing value addedpartnerships in North America with strong existing partnerrelationships Motivated by driving indirect/influence revenue witha record of quota over-achievement Ability to listen, makerecommendations and influence partner executives. A strategicthinker with effective communication and influence skills, whilestill being a strong tactical implementer Experience selling in thedata governance, file infrastructure tools and/or content lifecycleand or compliance management space via channel partnershipsExperience managing partner relationships that are based ondeveloping and delivering service offerings tied to vendor productMust have experience in a hybrid sales environment of direct andindirect sales Demonstrated progressive experience with B2B salesDemonstrated progressive experience selling high-end technologyproducts in assigned territory in a channel model Interest inEgnyte, and its software platform Effective communicator withexcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strongrelationships with partners and Egnyte teams. Strong personalnetwork within the industry. Driven, highly motivated and resultsdriven. You share our core values and work in accordance with thosevalues. Desire to travel is required (approximately 50%)

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor acrossmultiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on definedmarkets. The standard base pay range for this position across theU.S. is annually. Pay varies by work location and may also bedependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
