We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager tolead and grow our sales operations in the truss manufacturingindustry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding ofbuilding materials, construction processes, and the residential andcommercial housing market. The Sales Manager will be responsiblefor developing and executing sales strategies, managing a salesteam, and cultivating strong relationships with builders,contractors, architects, and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed company goalsfor revenue, market share, and profitability. Identify new businessopportunities in residential, commercial, and multifamilyconstruction markets. Build and maintain strong relationships withkey clients, contractors, and industry partners. Manage, mentor,and train a team of sales representatives or account managers.

Collaborate with the design, production, and delivery teams toensure customer satisfaction and timely project execution. Prepareand deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysisto senior management. Stay informed on industry trends, competitoractivity, pricing, and technological advancements in truss systems.

Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetingsas needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business,Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (orequivalent experience). 5 years of sales experience in the trussindustry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Knowledge oftruss systems, structural components, and construction industrystandards (preferred). Strong leadership, negotiation, andcommunication skills. Proficient with CRM software and MicrosoftOffice Suite. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel asrequired.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working withbuilders, framing contractors, or lumberyards. Understanding ofdesign software like MiTek, Alpine, or similar truss designprograms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints andarchitectural drawings.
