Role & Responsibilities Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales of CQV and ancillary services, achieve financial targets, manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, and develop pricing strategies and proposals.
Project Scoping & Planning:
Create detailed project scope statements, cost estimates, staffing plans, and coordinate service project delivery based on status updates.
Client & Market Engagement:
Lead client meetings, participate in trade shows and conferences, and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Technical Expertise:
Provide subject matter expertise in equipment validation across utilities, facilities, and process systems within life sciences environments.
Forecasting & Data Analysis:
Use tools to forecast sales performance, analyze pipeline data, and support the development of financial goals and metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with regional and marketing teams to generate targeted sales materials, ensure brand alignment, and explore vendor/manufacturer partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in FDA-regulated Life Sciences, specifically in Validation and Project Management roles, with a proven track record and readiness (or history) of transitioning into Business Development. Deep industry knowledge paired with strong business acumen, including experience with P&L management, project tracking, utilization reporting, and financial documentation. Educational and technical qualifications include a BA/BS in engineering, business, or a related field, along with proficiency in ERP, CRM, and general computer applications.
