Director, Strategic Accounts (NJ) 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 105 Lincoln Ave, Buena, NJ 08310 Director of Strategic Accounts (NJ) This position reports to the Vice President, National Sales. The Director, Strategic Accounts is on point and leads the effort to target, pursue, close and build relationships with large multi-site customers and large, industry-leading community-based hospital systems. This leader will serve as point person for strategically identified health systems, including Strategic Investor Partners (Owners) to build and optimize both service and investor relationship. This leader will exploit every opportunity to grow new business which includes new business calls, growing current customers, trade shows and conventions, and any other means to effectively and ethically, reach and close new customers. This person will work closely with the SVP, Strategic Development to advance relationships with key systems. In addition, this person will quarterback the sales efforts while tapping subject-matter-experts or ‘specialists’ to support the sales efforts such as the SVP/GM Ophthalmology, Vice President, National Accounts, National Director

Essential Functions:

Professionally execute the Mission, Vision and Goals of the company Specifically establish targets that will measurably meet the set goal Develop and maintain a robust new account pipeline for targeting future sales Know material, products, and messaging to communicate thoroughly to customers Quickly initiate and implement plan of action to build new accounts and business. Identify and replace targets that are not going to close in an appropriate time frame. Prepare for every sales call including account preparation, sales call goal setting, overcoming objections, proper materials and resource execution, and a follow up plan. Understand and communicate the value our organization brings to customers. Follow up with customers through the selling process in a timely and effective manner. Effectively close targeted new accounts. Prepare annual individual sales plan, and quarterly updates to ensure successful progress to the end goal – adjusting as necessary to meet goals Maintain expense budgets, necessary reports, and the responsible use of company assets. Utilize CRM system to enter all communications with current customers Keep and maintain account records as required and submit updates monthly Build and grow positive and productive relationships with customers, support staff and all other Leiter’s employees

Experience and Necessary Skills:

Results-oriented, professional and articulate Demonstrates a positive attitude and can-do spirit Demonstrates a willingness to practice, discuss, learn and grow selling skills Ability to make and meet commitments and deadlines Ability to be organized and effectively convert data into actionable plans and results Ability to foster and maintain positive client and business relationships Minimum of 5 years of executive sales leadership experience in the technical / clinical pharmaceutical arena preferred Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, or communication preferred
